About the Language and Learning Center

The Language & Learning Center was founded by Damaris Miltenberger Speech-Language Pathologist, in May, 2000, following more than 30 years of study, research, and experience with individuals with speech, language, learning, and attention problems. The mission of the Center is to provide

1. comprehensive, in-depth evaluations,
2. appropriate, intensive, individual treatment for individuals with these problems, and
3. information and support for them and their families.

The Center provides an environment that is warm, nurturing, and supportive of each individual’s growth and development. An attempt is made to help individuals develop self-advocacy skills and an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. We accept Medicaid and most insurance.
